Olis Polarization Toolbox Get a Quote!

Our newest instrument uses the flexibilty of a liquid crystal or photoelastic modulator to open the door to many complementary spectroscopic measurements all with little or no hardware changes. It is the only commercial instrument available capable of measuring circularly polarized luminescence. Even anisotropy is done in a novel way, with no need to use a gain correction factor. This system requires a light souce, which can be an LED, tungsten lamp, dueterium lamp, xenon lamp, or laser. A number of accessories are available including temperature control, a PMT for circular dicroism, stopped-flow, automated titrator, sample turret, and a 1.4 T magnet.

Applications (standard configuration)

  • Single point or kinetic fluorescence intensity
  • Single point or kinetic fluorescence anisotropy
  • Single point or kinetic fluorescence polarization
  • Single point or kinetic polarized luminescence
  • Single point or kinetic fluorescence detected circular dichroism

Technical Specifications

  • Light source not included but can be LED, tungsten, deuterium, laser, etc.
  • Excitation wavelength dependent on light source
  • Maximum collection rate of one point every 100 msec for all measurements except fluorescence intensity
