Warranty Extensions

All OLIS clients are encouraged to keep their instruments under warranty for immediacy of support and repairs and (frankly) for our fiscal stability. Our full staff is available to every user of all OLIS equipment for free under the first year warranty. Your need for support will not end at that point, and our need for your assistance in covering the costs of top quality support personnel, immediate repair/ replacement hardware, and software updates does not end either. By honoring our request for an annual warranty extension at less than 5 % of the original purchase price of each OLIS product, we both win. Support

If the list of trouble-shooting guide-lines below do not address your problem, call or email us for assistance. You will receive person-to-person help immediately or as soon as we can get back with you. If repairs are needed, we will decide together whether it can be done at your end or here. We encourage the former, since it saves time and money.

Often a problem can be resolved very quickly with a phone call. Occasionally, problems are more complex, necessitating further diagnosis or a remote-access session. (We use www.gotomeeting.com to jump onto your computer, at your invitation, of course!) Some problems can be answered by the assembly team, others need to be evaluated by our programming staff, and some require the expertise of a staff scientist.
